Planning is ACTION: Moving on to Chapter 6

Planning In Chapter 6, Public Relations: Strategies and Tactics by Wilcox and Cameron focuses on program planning (action) which is the second step in the public relations process. After research is completed the next step is to plan a program or campaign to accomplish organizational objectives.

 

Public relations plans include eight basic elements:

1. Situation

2. Objectives

3. Audiences

4. Strategy

5. Tactics

6. Calendar/timeable

7. Budget

8. Evaluation
